Former career diplomat, principally in Middle East and African posts.  Adviser to Inter Mediate, founded by a former 10 Downing Street Chief of Staff to resolve conflict internationally.  Ian has a digital perimeter and memetic campaign business, is a fluent Arabist and works on government clients directly and via Firehouse.  He is currently engaged via Firehouse on a Big 4 accounting firm mandate in the Middle East.

Jeffries leads Firehouse’s Trade and Regulatory work. He is currently CEO of Transatlantic Business Britain and former CEO of BritishAmerican Business Council and BritishAmerican Business. He provides strategic and technical advice to a wide range of clients including multinationals and trade associations on policy, regulatory, market entry and FDI and trade policy challenges and opportunities. He has wide experience and strong networks linking London, Brussels, and the Americas and a background in multinational business, law and international trade association leadership. Jeffries has extensive experience in devising and running high-profile regulatory and communications campaigns through all stages from thought leadership, position drafting, industry consensus and standards formation, to outreach and communications, both domestically and across multiple geographies.

He has a BA in Journalism and International Relations from London College of Communication.

Her particular forté is in partnerships and events, which support a client’s business development and lead generation.

Former Lieutenant-Colonel, with parent regiment of The Blues & Royals, Her Majesty´s Household Cavalry. 2008-2018 served variously as: head of UK Armoured Fighting Vehicle training; NATO Deputy Head Current Operations, Afghanistan; Chief of Staff Surveillance Intelligence Organisation. Previously served as a military intelligence analyst with the UK Joint Intelligence Committee (´JIC´). He is serving pro bono on a number of war crimes investigations teams in past and current warzones.

Lucy has a keen interest in geopolitics and digital strategy and has worked with global corporate clients and HNWIs. Her clients have been in diamond mining, renewable energy, management consultancy, law firms, hedge funds, the UN, and overseas governments. Alongside her work, Lucy has a keen interest in arts and culture, acting as lead curator for world’s largest online art auction in aid of COVID-19 causes, raising money for frontline charities. Lucy is passionate about female representation in the arts and has advised major global law firms on how they can move their art collections beyond the previously accepted canon.
